We are staying in the home of some other missionaries to watch their dog while they are in the States for 3 weeks. When we are up on the mountain we can see the house. The house we are in is the one in the foreground of the top right picture. The top left is a picture of the airstrip at the back of the compound. Just thought you might like to see where we are. :)

When we go up and down the mountain we always see interesting things and this trip was no exception. The bottom right picture is a huge tree that someone just decided to cut down right there on a pretty sharp curve. We had to laugh as we drove by that one! I guess someone needed some fire wood....

And the bottom left picture was taken as we were going down and we were at the last curve before the hospital compound at the bottom of the mountain. Unfortunately for this guy, he was going up and this would have been the first of many steep curves for him! I can hardly walk up the mountain and this guy was helping to push an overloaded van up the mountain! I was short of breath just watching him!
